Rainbow Junco

Did this half awake, in a dreamy state. 

Dreamed of juncos (and if you don't know what those are, look them up, they are adorable) that had rainbow feathers and shot out of little eggs that looked like canons. 

This is almost what they looked like in the dream, only more vibrant.

Sea horse!

So I slammed my finger in a car door in the beginning of March, which stopped me from drawing for a few weeks. BUT I'M BACK! It is a shitty scan job, but here is a sea horse creature that I finally got to finish. Used micron pens and LEAD colored pencils, which I've decided to STOP using because I'm pretty sure I'm feeling symptoms of lead poisoning. Here is to coloring like a five year old!

PS- that is an egg sack on his belly.

My mom got her gallbladder removed, so I made her this little card. 

She loves bears and purple and she is a nurse so I feel this all fits her pretty well.

She's all healed up now, thank goodness :)

Clay dude

Elise had a clay relief of Picard that we (had permission to) destroyed! Those Picard pieces did not go to waste, however! Instead everybody attending poker that evening got to create ridiculous clay creatures. I made this dude. He's kind of an alien bird or something. I like him. He probably got smooshed into something else or thrown away by now, but oh well. The whole event inspired me to get back into playing with clay, so for that I am grateful!
